We get it, you’re not a race car driver. It would seem, then, perhaps a bit silly to put a racing suspension in your Porsche. After all, you’re not tearing up the track in your car. You just like to take nice long — and fast — drives in your incredible automobile. A racing suspension seems, one would think, a bit much. A little unnecessary. A little crazy.

Or is it?

One wonderful aspect of these extraordinary cars is how close they bring you to the race car driving experience. You don’t buy a Porsche to pick up the kids from school or run errands around town. (You might end up using it for that after all, but that’s another blog post altogether.) You buy a Porsche for the joy of really driving, those long weekend winding rides out in the countryside, mountains or near the ocean, your favorite roads, twists and turns, your absolute happy place. While you may have to do a lot of idling and puttering about during working hours, after hours is when your Porsche really shines.

JRZ Suspension & Damper Design

It stands to reason, then, that replacing your suspension with a JRZ kit to amplify your driving experience isn’t actually such a crazy idea after all. Crafting a better driving experience and making it more accessible for more drivers has been part of the JRZ experience since their beginnings in 1994. Their design philosophy is, as they put it, “completely different from other damper manufacturers”. Considering that JRZ is the most sought-after suspension and damper design for racing vehicles, they clearly set the standard extremely high.

So what exactly does a JRZ suspension bring to your Porsche? You can look forward to:

  • Improved handling
  • Better comfort level
  • Increased traction
  • Better stability of the vehicle body
  • Longer life of the damper
  • Reduced wear on tires

Clearly, all of these are excellent reasons to install a JRZ suspension in your Porsche. Quite simply, it just makes for a much better driving experience.

I have been working with Olsen on a long-term restoration project for the last 2 and 1/2 years. They are experts in the field, honest to work with, and get the job done right! My air-cooled 911 is the best car I have ever owned, and is a forever-car thanks to Olsen.

Horrible!!! Brought my 95 993 in for an oil change and a check up.$1500. Upon an initial checkup, they said I had no fluids to rear brakes and needed another$2500 in brake work. Then called and said it was was much worse and I needed $16,000 in a main system repair. Brakes completely dis functional. I said stop and I’ll come pick up the car. They then fear mongered me about an unsafe car and told me to bring a tow truck. I refused and told them I wanted the car back in the same condition I brought it in. They said they would not put the car back in driving condition until I paid another$1500. After that I brought my car to another shop and explained their diagnosis. Got a call the next day that said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my brakes and were operating perfectly which I always felt they were. Never again. This shop is a group of Thieves. $16,000 for a non-existent problem. Seriously considering lawsuit.

The best 911 shop. Simply the best. The people, the cleanliness of the shop, the knowledge of the mechanics. The gold standard.

Quality work at a fair price! I'll be taking my Porsche Cayman here from now on. Update: Just had shocks and mounts installed, still quality work!

Great place! Only place who would charge my vintage marzocchi shocks with nitrogen.

Nes, Nic and the rest of the guys at Olsen motorsports communicated well. They installed an aftermarket center muffler on my GT3 for a reasonable price and in a timely manner.

bought my 1992 911 C2 for major engine rebuild. I was very satisfied on the quality of their work, expertise and overall shop environment. My contact Nes was fabulous and always available and kept me informed of the progress. when at the shop I noticed how well organized and all the air cooled beauties that were being „pampered” and refurbished. I at all times felt that my 911 was well taken care of. You can see the are very passionate in what they do! Thumbs up!!!
